This week the sidewalk on the south side, Leavenworth to Hyde, was poured and is nearly complete. It looks fantastic. Thanks to all the businesses for their patience and cooperation during this work.

Water main work is being performed by the Water Department along Jefferson from Jones working west. The demo’d roadway and subgrade is being hauled off and this should take a few more days.

Through next week (3.22 to 3.29)

Work to the final portion of that south sidewalk (including the bulb-out at the southeast corner of Hyde and Jefferson) will commence through next week. The goal is to have that work done by the end of next week.

Starting on Tuesday, crews will begin forming the curb and gutter on the north side of the roadway, Leavenworth to Hyde.

They plan to pour this and have it done at the end of the week, 3/29.

Also next week, the roadway from Jones to Leavenworth will be formed and poured. This will take a couple of days and is planned to be completed by the end of the week.

There will be curb ramp work at Leavenworth and Jefferson during the later part of next week as well.

Two weeks (4.1 to 4.5)

During the first week of April, work is scheduled to begin on the Leavenworth intersection. Work includes demo’ing the area in sections and pouring the new roadway.

Traffic changes will be in effect as noted earlier.

Water main work will continue along the block heading west.
